Photography

A picture is worth a thousand words, a slideshow is both. Photography is an art of recording still or moving images by an electronic medium to create lasting impression. This industry has seen a vast development. It has had a phenomenal change. Right from the black and white devices to the digital and virtual devices present now. Photography is all about capturing a moment of your life and treasuring it forever. Nowadays photography is given high priority and has become a basic necessity in all works of life. It has made its place in the mobile devices, laptops, spy devices etc. Everywhere photography has become so common.

Photography is an art which needs perfection and eye for detail. An image remains an image if it is taken without any focus and detailing. It becomes a lasting impression and a memory when taken accurately.

There are certain tips and techniques that are to be kept in mind while taking a photograph. There are different details to be focused on while taking photos for different occasions and different formats. But at a larger aspect I would like to put some important detailing a photo should bear.

1. Camera – it matters what to possess. The camera to have and the eye for detail is the two most important aspects in a photo.
2. Be in the same level – while taking a photo, be in the same level as the object. Do not focus it upwards or downwards unless and until it is required. Stay connected at the same level.
3. Background – having a plain background is very essential. This would make the photo look clearer and focus the attention on the object.
4. Flash – usage of flash outdoors enhances the light and gives a better picture. Usage of flash indoor gives an artificial lighting to the surrounding and the originality is gone. Do not use flash unless and until dark.
5. Close connect – maintaining a close connect to the object is a prime thing. It will produce an impactful picture and cut down the attention to the background.
6. Formats – different formats are necessary for different pictures. Horizontal, vertical, panorama etc. This would bring out the best of the object. If the object is longitudinal take vertical photos, and if it is latitudinal take horizontal photos.
7. Focus – it is necessary to keep the object in the center. Re-frame the image and adjust the focus and arrest the moment.
8. Middle – not in all photos the object should be kept in middle. Cover the scenery and the light environment to add beauty to the image. Give it a natural look and capture the moment.
9. Lighting – effects of light effects the photos too. Need to know where the shadow is and avoid it. Soft lighting is recommended.
10. Direct – direct the picture. Do not take photos in an old fashioned way. Take it in different ways. Take it more funky and natural than to stand in a line and pose for it.
